In order to achieve our mission and provide our members the important skills, connections and knowledge needed to break-into and excel in the consulting industry we organize and provide four different types of events.
Each of these plays a unique role in educating our members, which when put together provide IE Consulting Club members all the tools needed to land their dream jobs.
Case to Ace
The IE Consulting Club Case to Ace are a recurring event aimed at bringing our members together to practice cases. By providing a space at the university campus, we pair the event attendees based on their casing level so they can take a hands-on learning approach that allows them to practice cases with their peers.
Our Case to Ace are of extreme importance because they provide our members a safe and enriching environment where they can gather and prepare for their upcoming interviews. Through our Case to Ace, students who would otherwise not meet and case together are now able to do so. In doing this, we ensure our members pick up the habit to solve cases and share important skills among one another.
Crack the Case
In these interactive events a club officer will solve a case with the help of the audience, allowing our members who do not feel comfortable solving a case on their own to get some practice.
We often invite alumni currently working as consultants in order to teach our members a specific skill. The theme of each workshop varies, ranging from technical skills to industry insights.
Cup of Consulting
In these events we invite alumni consultants and have an informal conversation where we ask questions to understand their roles and companies better. They are a great opportunity for networking!
For our least experienced members; this event format allows attendees to be a “fly on the wall” and see how the Talent & Careers team interviews another student.
1-to-1 Case Practice
By providing a space for our members, in these events we pair up and take a hands-on approach by solving cases on our own. The best way to gain experience and get ready for case interviews!
